You Are Special

I was considered the worst student in my class. My family thought I would never go to university. I also thought like that, but you can never be too sure in life.
When I thought of myself as a loser, a new teacher, Miss Sadia, joined our school. She was young, beautiful and knowledgeable.
One day, I was sitting alone in my classroom during our lunch break. Miss Sadia noticed me and called me over to her desk and talked to me. She talked and laughed, and her smile swept away my unhappiness.
Suddenly, I asked her, “Can I go to university?” I didn’t know why I asked this question. I thought she would say “no”, because everyone said so. But she said, “Dear, you can do what you want. Just try. You are special.”
It gave me the feeling that someone believed in me. And it was great. After that day, we became good friends. I liked talking to her. She was always there and had time to listen to me.
In the end, I did well in my studies and went to a good university. Miss Sadia is an angel. Her words have kept me going forward. She lets me know that I am special and can be successful.
