A letter

习作要求：

　　假如你叫Li Lei，你的笔友Mary现在上海三中学习。她邀请你去参加宴会。请你给Mary写一封信。信的要点如下：1. 你很抱歉，不能去；2. 你母亲病了，医生叫她卧床几日，你要照料母亲；3. 谢谢寄来的漂亮的明信片，很喜欢。要求不少于60词。

Dear Mary,
　Thank you very much for inviting me to your party. I am very sorry that I can’t come. My mother is ill. The doctor tells her that she should stay (1) in bed for several days. I’ll take care of my mother. (2) Thanks very much for sending me such a beautiful postcard. I like it very much.

教师修改：
　　(1) 此处应加the。in bed一般指“卧病在床”，而in the bed一般指“躺在床上”。
　　(2) 此处应将very much改为a lot或将Thanks改为Thank you。
