【同中求异】voice, noise, sound

　　这三个词均可译为“声音”，意思稍有区别。
　　voice一般指人的说话声、歌声或笑声，电台声音，也可用于指鸟鸣声或一些拟人化的声音。如：
　　They are talking in low voices.
　　他们在小声交谈。
　　Do you often listen to the Voice of America?
　　你经常听《美国之音》吗？
　　noise意为“噪音；喧哗声”，常指不悦耳、不和谐的嘈杂声。如：
　　He enjoys the country life, away from city noise.
　　他喜欢远离城市喧闹的乡村生活。
　　We were woken up by noises in the night. 
　　我们夜间被喧闹声吵醒了。
　　Will you please make less noise, boys and girls?
　　孩子们能不能小点声？
　　sound泛指人们听到的“声音”，可以指人和动物的声音，也可指物体碰撞发出的声音或指大自然的任何声音。如：
　　Sound travels more slowly than light.
　　声音比光传播得慢。
　　We couldn’t hear a sound here.
　　在这里我们一点声音也听不到。
　　I woke up to the sound of larks chirruping.
　　百灵鸟的叽叽喳喳声把我给吵醒了。 
　　Thorugh the half-opened door came the sound of many voices.
　　从半开着的门里面传来了很多人的说话声。
