　What clothes do you like? School uniforms are for school days. T-shirts and jeans are street style. Then, what about hanfu? Would you like to have a try?

　Hanfu is the traditional clothing for Han people in China. Its history dates back to over 4,000 years ago. It developed a lot during the Qin Dynasty. It went out of fashion¹ during the Qing Dynasty, and people didn’t wear it in the early 20th century.

　Now, hanfu is becoming more and more popular with young people. Dafan is a young girl. She really likes hanfu. She usually wears hanfu at festivals or cultural events. “When I put on my hanfu, I can see a new self. Sometimes, it also helps me forget the troubles in my life,” said the girl. For Dafan, hanfu makes her happy and relaxed.

　Some other young people like hanfu because of the history and culture behind it. They say hanfu is beautiful and it shows traditional Chinese culture.
