The woman and the crow

A woman goes to sell vegetables in the market. She earns a lot of money and buys some eggs with some money. Then she sits on her horse to go home. She puts the basket full of eggs on her leg and dreams of what else she can buy with the money.

Suddenly, all her eggs fall on the ground and break. She feels very sad. At this time, she sees a crow crowing in the tree. She shouts, “Fool! Why do you make so much noise? I’m surprised to hear your unpleasant1 voice, so my eggs break.”

The crow answers, “Lady, you are careless2 and lost in your thought when riding. You shouldn’t blame me for your fault3.”

The woman feels ashamed4 and says sorry to the crow.
