Strange Magic

　Everyone deserves(值得) to be loved, even goblins(小妖精). That’s one of the messages from the cartoon movie, Strange Magic.

　The story takes place in an imaginary world with a beautiful kingdom and a dark forest. On one side, there are good creatures, like fairies(仙女) and elves(小精灵), and on the other side, there are goblins. When a fairy performs a magic love spell, creatures from both worlds fall in love with each other.

　This is a fairy tale musical(音乐剧) inspired by A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The new mystical film is told through songs: both old and new; both pop and rock. Popular songs from the past 60 years help tell the fairy tale of a colorful group of goblins, elves, and fairies, and their funny adventures.

　Strange Magic is a good story, but it also has great music. The music is telling the story. Do you like it?
