The Chronicles of Narnia

　If you’re a fan of fantasy(奇幻) books, you can’t miss The Chronicles of Narnia(《纳尼亚传奇》) series. It has seven books in total. British author C.S. Lewis wrote them between 1950 and 1956. The first and most famous one is The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

　Narnia is a magic world where animals and trees can talk. Four children enter Narnia through an old wardrobe in the house of Professor Kirke. There, they meet a friendly lion called Aslan. He asks the children to fight the White Witch, who has ruled over the land for 100 years. Narnia is always in winter because of her, and there is no Christmas. The witch can turn anyone into a stone. The children and Aslan save the land of Narnia. It’s a fight between good and evil.
