I Am Nobody

I Am Nobody(《异人之下》), a TV drama, answered “Yes”, with a high score of 8.1 out of 10 on Douban. The drama was adapted(改编) from the webcomics(网络漫画) called The Outcast(《一人之下》). It tells the story of a group of “yiren”with superpowers living in the modern world and running a delivery company(快递公司). They fight evil(邪恶) and save the day when needed.
I Am Nobody creates a unique Chinese-style superhero world where you can see eight different superpowers. The superpowers are inspired(受启发) by traditional Chinese culture, especially Taoism(道教). For example, the character Zhang Lingyu is a student at a Taoist school. The magic figures(画符) he draws can turn into weapons(武器). Feng Zhenghao, another main character, can catch powers from spirits and souls(灵魂).
