It’s tea time!
British people love tea very much. Low tea or high tea? Look at the time!
Low tea (or afternoon tea) is usually between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm. People often have sandwiches, snacks and tea. At first, people enjoyed it at a low table. So they called it “low tea”.
High tea is usually between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. In fact, it is a “mini meal”. People often have bread, vegetables, meat and tea. At first, people enjoyed it at a high table. So they called it “high tea”.
No matter it’s low tea or high tea, enjoying tea time is always something great to do with family or friends.
