Space Cadet

    Can you think of any space rom-coms（浪漫喜剧）? Well, that’s just what Space Cadet (《太空实习生》）  is about. The movie follows the fun adventures(冒险) of Rex, played by US actress and rom-com favorite Emma Roberts. Rex is a happy- go-lucky party girl who ends up applying to(申请) NASA’s space program. While she is not as experienced as the others, a lucky accident puts her into NASA’s training program. Although the other candidates(候选人)may have better resumes(履历), they don’t have Rex’s smarts and courage, and she soon becomes NASA’s best hope for a big mission.

　The rom-com was, for a time, a huge genre(类型) in the US. But in more recent years, it has gone out of fashion. Perhaps this mix of romance and space adventures can bring the joy of this genre back in style.
