【同中求异】探秘“借”字家族

　　lend，borrow和keep都可表示“借”，但他们的用法有所区别。
　　lend非延续性动词，意为“借出”，是把自己的东西借给别人，常用结构为lend sb. sth. 或 lend sth. to sb.。如:
　　Could you lend me your pen?=Could you lend your pen to me?
　　你能把你的钢笔借给我吗？
　　Thanks for lending me the money. 
　　多谢你借钱给我。
　　borrow非延续性动词，意为“借入”，指从别人那里借东西到自己这儿来，常用结构为borrow sth. from sb./somewhere。如：
　　I borrowed a book from the library.
　　我从图书馆借了一本书。
　　Can I borrow your pen?
　　我可以借你的钢笔吗？
　　keep有“保存；保留；借（一段时间）”的意思，是持续性动词，强调持有某物的状态或持续的时间。它可以和表示一段时间的状语连用，而borrow和lend不能和表示一段时间的状语连用。keep的常用结构为“keep+sth.+时间”，表示“借或保留某物一段时间”。如：
　　You can keep this book for two weeks.
　　这本书你可以借（保留）两周。
　　I can lend you this book, but you can’t keep it for too long. 
　　我可以借给你这本书，但你不能借太久。
