Fighting for justice

  Detective Conan: The Phantom of Baker Street (《名侦探柯南:贝克街的亡灵》) is the sixth movie in the Detective Conan film series(系列). This exciting story mixes high- tech virtual reality(虚拟现实) with an old-school mystery. Hiroki Sawada, a 10-year-old scientist, takes his own life after creating a groundbreaking DNA tracking system(追踪系统) and a powerful AI called Noah’s Ark. The story has interesting characters and settings. The main character, Sawada, is a smart but rebellious(反叛的) inventor(发明家). He made amazing technologies that could change society, but he always felt lonely and misunderstood. In the end, he decided to end his own life to get away from the pressure of being a genius(天才). His sad end makes us wonder about the pressure put on gifted(有才华的) people and how expectations can turn their talent into something that makes them unhappy. It also reminds us that people need more than just success—they need to connect with people and also have a sense of meaning.
　This movie also shows the sadness of life and death. To protect Conan, the Young Detective Group falls one after another in a virtual game. When Sherry dies in the game, she says to Conan, “You can never give up...If Sherlock Holmes doesn’t show up, you are our Sherlock Holmes.” This movie also wants to tell us about the importance of friendship.

　As the character Conan says, we can only keep fighting. Only our progress will make society develop.
