voice, sound, noise

　　voice作可数名词，一般指人的声音，说话、唱歌、谈笑都可用voice。voice除了有时可指鸟的鸟鸣声，很少表示其他动物的声音。如：

　　A man spoke to me in a friendly voice.

　　一位男士用友善的声音同我说话。

　　The bird is singing in a beautiful voice.

　　小鸟正用动听的嗓音唱歌。

　　noise意为“噪音”“喧闹声”，是不可数名词，常指不悦耳、不和谐的嘈杂声。如：

　　The noise outside wakened her.

　　外面的噪声吵醒了她。

　　There is so much noise in the room.

　　这个屋子里太嘈杂了。

　　sound作“声音”“响声”讲时，可以指人或动物发出的声音，或物体碰撞的声音，为可数名词。这个词的使用范围很大，大自然的任何声音都可以用sound。如：

　　At midnight he heard a strange sound.

　　半夜里他听到一种奇怪的声音。

　　The room was filled with the sound of music.

　　房间充满了音乐声。

　　Peter heard the sound of gunfire.

　　皮特听到了枪炮声。
