The Sisters of Baima Tibetan

    The Sisters of Baima Tibetan (《白马姐妹》) came out in cinemas on the Chinese mainland. It tells the story of four sisters and their family. They helped the Baima village in Sichuan Province after a big flood. The Baima people live in the mountains in Sichuan and Gansu provinces. They are believed to be one of East Asia’s oldest tribes (部落). The film shows the four sisters’ lives and how the Baima village became a better place over 24 years.
