Learn to live with your weaknesses

It is a sunny day. A peacock1 is dancing happily in the forest. Suddenly, he sees a nightingale2 sitting in a tree and singing. Then he thinks of his bad voice. His face turns red and his eyes start watering.

A tiger appears and he asks the peacock, “Why are you sad?”

The peacock says,  “My voice is so bad. I don’t like it.”

The tiger laughs and replies, “You are wrong. Every one has the special gift—you have the beauty, I have the strength and the nightingale has the sweet voice. So don’t complain about3 your weaknesses. Face them and just be happy.”

Notes:

1. peacock n. 孔雀 2. nightingale n. 夜莺 3. 意为:抱怨
