Creation of the Gods II

   Creation of the Gods II was finally here! After some delays(延期), it came out on the Lunar New Year’s Day(正月初一) of 2025.
　The first movie, Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms, was a big success in 2023. It earned 2.63 billion yuan and won three Golden Rooster awards(金鸡奖), including Best Feature Film. The movie’s amazing special effects(特效), rich stories from mythology(神话故事) and epic battles(史诗般的战役) made it so popular that some people compared it to The Lord of the Rings. One review even said, “Don’t try to be China’s Lord of the Rings, be the world’s Fengshen.”
　The first movie showed the big fight between normal people and gods during the fall of the Shang Dynasty. In the second movie, the city of Xiqi is under attack(进攻). Director(导演) Wu ershan shared that the first movie, based on a Ming Dynasty(1368-1644) novel, took 10 years to make and needed around 10,000 people to help, according to China Daily.

　Following its phenomenal success in China’s Lunar New Year box office, Creation of the Gods II has garnered(获得) widespread acclaim for its grand storytelling, cutting-edge visual effects, and deep cultural significance.
