Hello, my name is Li Hua. Have you ever read a book that touches your heart? I have just finished my favourite book—The Old Man and the Sea. It was written by the American writer Ernest Hemingway.
The story is about an old fisherman named Santiago. He fights with a huge fish alone at sea for several days. Although he finally loses the fish to sharks, he never gives up. I have already read this book three times, but I’ve never felt bored. The old man’s strong will always encourages me.
I haven’t found any other book that has taught me so much.
From this story, I have learnt that success is not about winning or losing, but about never giving up. I have already recommended it to my best friend, and he loves it too. If you have never read this book, I strongly suggest you try it. I’m sure you will like it!
