清溪深不测，

The creek so clear seems deep,

隐处惟孤云。

A lonely cloud in view.

松际露微月，

Through pines the moon would peep,

清光犹为君。

And shed clear beams for you.

茅亭宿花影，

The flowers’ shadows sleep,

药院滋苔纹。

Under your thatched roof new.

余亦谢时去，

Cranes’ company I’d keep,

西山鸾鹤群。

To moss I bid adieu.
