      who指代人，在定语从句中作主语或宾语，作宾语时可以省略。如：

　　The girl who is answering the question is Jenny.

　　正在回答问题的那个女孩是珍妮。

　　The boy (who) we saw yesterday is David’s brother.

　　昨天我们看到的男孩是大卫的弟弟。

　　whom指代人，在定语从句中作宾语，可以省略。在介词后面的关系代词要用whom，whom不能省略。如：

　　Jason is the person (whom) you talked with.

　　杰森是你刚才谈话的那个人。

　　Please tell me from whom you borrowed the book.

　　请告诉我你从谁那里借的这本书。

　　whose在从句中作定语，可指人，也可指物，修饰名词，whose不能省略。如：

　　Do you know the boy whose mother is our Chinese teacher?

　　你认识那个他妈妈是咱们语文老师的男孩吗？

　　Jim has bought a new bike whose color is black.

　　吉姆买了一辆黑色的新自行车。

　　which一般指物，在定语从句中作主语或宾语，作宾语时可以省略。在介词后面的关系代词要用which，which不能省略。如：

　　The computer which is the newest is mine.

　　那台最新的电脑是我的。

　　This is the dictionary (which) you want.

　　这是你想要的那部字典。

　　This is the house in which we lived five years ago.

      这是我们五年前居住的房子。
