Labor is not just a lesson in classrooms

   Labor has become a subject, but it is quite different from math, Chinese and English. You can’t learn, test and score in the same way.

　Labor education is not about getting knowledge in the classroom, but is about learning by practice. You can practice again and again, and then master the life skills. And you can’t evaluate¹ it through tests. You can only evaluate it by yourself—whether you have become a better and healthier person.

　Some people even say labor education will become a part of zhongkao and gaokao in the near future. If a student cannot do housework or cook, he or she will get lower scores in the two exams. If so, students will finally lose their love for labor.

　You should understand the real meaning of labor and its value to life. Real labor education can help people to be active, creative and happy in life.

　You can’t achieve the goal of labor education in a classroom. Only when you connect labor with life, can you know the real importance and value of labor.
