【同中求异】other，the other，others，the others

      other，the other，others和the others看起来相似，其意思与用法却大不相同。
　　other既可作代词，也可作形容词，意为“另外的；其他的”，泛指“其他的（人或物）”，其后常跟可数名词复数。如：
　　I have some other friends.
　　我还有一些其他朋友。
　　the other既可作代词，也可作形容词，指两者中的另外一个，通常和one搭配，即one... the other...，意为“一个……另一个……”，其后跟单数名词。如：
　　She has two daughters. One is a doctor, and the other is a teacher.
　　她有两个女儿，一个是医生，另一个是老师。
　　others代词，泛指“另外几个；其余的人或物”，但不指其余的人或物的全部，相当于“other+复数名词”，其后不跟名词。如：
　　A lot of people are in the park. Some are singing, others are dancing.
　　公园里有许多人，一些人在唱歌，另一些人在跳舞。（还有人干其他的事情，others不是其余的全部）
　　the others代词，意为“其他东西；其余的人”，特指某一范围内的其他的人或物的全部，相当于“ the other+复数名词”，其后不接名词。如：
　　There are forty books in the box. Ten are mine, the others are my father’s.
　　箱子里有四十本书。其中的十本是我的，其余的都是我父亲的。
