Bob’s Burgers is a muchloved animated sitcom. It has 12 seasons and more than 200 episodes. Now, it’s going from the small screen to the big one. The Bob’s Burgers movie came out on May 27.
The series tells a story about a family who runs a burger restaurant in a small city in the United States. In the movie, a big sinkhole appears in front of their restaurant. It stops the family from getting out and realizing their plans for the summer. Bob, Linda and their three kids have to save the restaurant.
The movie is a “musical comedy mystery adventure”, said series creator Loren Bouchard. Besides, it keeps the series’ warm and absurd humor.
Bob’s Burgers is famous for being full of jokes. For example, one episode looks like E.T.—only with a talking toilet instead of an alien visitor.
The series “has a grounded tone and the characters feel like a real family”, wrote Screen Rant website.
